Our location Hosts work in partnership with us to identify and provide secure, strategic public and semi-public spaces where we install the Electronic Paper Display (EPD) screens (and related hardware) that display nudging messages to the public.  

The Nudge4Good messaging platform is currently available for restrooms, lifts and similar spaces around town. Why restrooms? Because research shows that thoughtful, relevant messaging in restrooms is rewarded with a whopping 70% (minimum) recall rate. That is to say, more than 70 out of every 100 users remember and are able to identify and even act on the message afterwards. Lifts offer similarly rewarding memorability and are a fast growing niche in digital communication. On average, a user is likely to spend 2-3 minutes in a public restroom and about 1 minute in a commercial lift. With minimal distractions from other devices or screens, they are far more likely to focus on the nudge messaging in that space and thus respond to it as required. 

Merely by providing a little existing wall space, Nudge4Good Hosts are able to simultaneously guide their communities to desirable habits, meet their business social good goals and build their brand as well as local goodwill. On our part, we work closely with Hosts to ensure that every message is appropriate and desirable for their space and audience.

Any communication is, of course, only as effective as the audience that engages with it, which is why we consider the end viewer as important to the messaging ecosystem as our Hosts and Sponsors. The individuals and communities who use these spaces, who view these nudging messaging campaigns, engage with the varying messages, respond to the suggestions and come away changed in some way, are the reason why we do what we do. This desire for a better life, this commitment to social good, this desire to help them improve themselves and their lives is what fuels our passion. 

It will come as no surprise therefore that we take feedback and data collection very seriously. At all times we are motivated by feedback and engagement, praise and brickbats too! Also, in keeping with our ethos of respectful and ethical technology, all demographic and usage data gathered through our various channels is anonymised for privacy, and stored securely. At all times, Nudge4Good is designed to prioritise human dignity and the right to choice and data protection.

You could say that we provide the brawn as well as the brain. That is to say, through partnerships with similarly sustainability-focused manufacturers, Nudge4Good provides, installs and maintains the messaging platform screens and related hardware in the locations previously identified and offered by Hosts. We have also developed, and run and maintain, the proprietary software on which the platform functions.  

Our messaging campaigns are developed in-house, in close conjunction with the needs of Hosts and Sponsors to ensure that every stakeholder, including the audience, benefits from our work. We also offer our assistance and guidance to Sponsors in the creation of nudging message campaigns, understanding and targeting specific audiences in particular locations, etc.   

Being able to control all aspects of the platform at all times allows us to offer our services at highly competitive prices and ensure tight control over the quality and nature of the messaging. Through this, we help organisations to not only achieve sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) goals but also to strengthen brand reputations, reach and recognition.
