We are a team of technology innovators and communication experts who specialise in developing technology propositions for the world around us. We noticed that in an overwhelming number of use cases, technology was not really the problem; mistrust came from how it was deployed by creators and then understood and used by consumers.  

We feel that the biggest barrier is not necessarily a lack of resources as much as lack of awareness of what individuals and organisations can do to help themselves and the larger community. That said, the knowledge, resources and platforms required to create this awareness exist, but the impact is often limited by the medium through which it is delivered. For information to be effective, it needs to be presented in a form that is engaging and captive. The place and time of presenting this information are crucial too.   

This insight led to deep research into modern behavioural science in an attempt to make products that would be easy to understand and use and also be designed to help people do better for themselves. Our fascination with the evolution of Electronic Paper Display (EPD) technology, bolstered by growing consumer commitment to sustainability, led us to bring these ideas together and voila! We aim to create effective awareness of these problems and potential solutions at hand. With the advent of digital media, we are now able to target the right audience to a large extent; however there still exists a problem when it comes to place and time. Our data-driven messaging platform is guided by the principles of modern behavioural research to solve this issue, by nudging people in the appropriate spaces and at the necessary moments to choose (and thus do) better. When we say that sustainability is a foundational value for Nudge4Good, we mean that in the most comprehensive way possible. As an organisation that believes in a greener approach to technology, we consider sustainability a lifestyle – maximising sunlight and fresh air for example, proactively reducing material wastage, reusing parts and components as much as possible, taking a modular approach to design to encourage reusing and design flexibility... We take this approach into our daily lives too in many ways.

We carpool, walk or use public transit as much as possible, use digital tools to minimise paper usage, ensure all waste is segregated to encourage recycling, use empty coffee jars as tool holders, empty biscuit tins for storing electronic components, etc. Without penalties or pushiness, we try our best to nudge ourselves into more sustainable work choices daily.   

As an aspiring technology startup, our vision goes beyond creating innovative products—we aim to be a driving force for social good, i.e. innovate to benefit society as a whole, to address social, environmental, and economic challenges, particularly in ways that promote positive change, equality, and well-being. We believe that business should not only be about profits but also about making a difference in the world, and as a startup, we have the unique opportunity to integrate these principles into our foundation. 

A key goal in this journey is our determination to become a certified B Corporation (BCorp), to meet high standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency. Achieving BCorp status would not only demonstrate our commitment to positive social and environmental impact but also help us attract partners and investors who share our values. 

It naturally follows that, from conception to execution, the Nudge4Good messaging platform prioritises sustainability and respectful communication. We are committed to developing cutting-edge solutions that address the pressing environmental challenges of our time. Our screens use Electronic Paper Display (EPD) technology that is known for being unobtrusive and gentle on the eye. Our modular design supports easy repairs, replacements and upgrades while optimising the reuse and recycling of parts as indicated.
